Took a test ride on the BMW S1000RR and review

So today I decided to ride my current motorcycle – 2007 V-Star 1300 over to the Sandy, UT BMW Motorcycle Dealership. I looked around and I wanted to test ride the BMW R1200GS but the owner had it out for a test ride so I took the BMW S1000RR out. I enjoyed the ride rode the freeway and then jumped on Traverse Mountain Highway for some twisty riding.

I was impressed but I need to ride a more standard motorcycle. The comfort was okay, I racked my nuts when I was on the brakes for a stop light. The brakes are super touchy and efficient which is why I went home and was glad I was not on a sport bike, I was on my cruiser.

Overall I do think that the BMW S1000RR is an amazing sport motorcycle. For me I need more of a sport touring or standard motorcycle to suit my needs.
