The Dark Side Bobber Motorcycle
This has to be one of the most unique Bobber Motorcycles I have ever seen. Not sure if it is the white wall car tires. Not sure if it is the amount of chrome on this bobber or even yet the crazy exhaust and the suicide shifter. So lets start from the front of this bobber. When a motorcycle runs car tires, it is called “riding the dark side“. I will be the first to admit I have never ridden a motorcycle with car tires. If you have let me know how it is, some of us have read about … Continue reading

Yamaha XJ Bobber Hardtail Motorcycle – ‘1981 XJ650
This bobber was submitted a few days ago. When you look at the this bobber you have to say “WOW”. You have to think that you would ride this around town, maybe as a commuter motorcycle? Don’t get me wrong this bobber has some great loos but is missing some serious safety items. I would like to see a mirror, and some turn signal lights. 1982 Honda CB650 Bobber Motorcycle
This bobber motorcycle was sent to me just the other day. I really like it a lot. It has 99% of the things I am looking for on a bobber. It has the mirror’s and I love the placement of the rear brake light. That sucker is big and right where it is supposed to be. The seat looks a little uncomfortable and not that fun for long rides. Keep in mind though that a bobber is not supposed to be confortable so I will not judge the bobber on that aspect. Here is what Jonathan wrote: Here’s my first bobber project, … Continue reading

Why Are Modular Motorcycle Helmets Becoming More Popular With Riders
Even though sales figures for different types of helmets are difficult to come by, it has not gone unnoticed by industry observers that modular motorcycle helmets have been rising in popularity over the last few years. Modular helmets, also referred to as ‘flip-up’ helmets because you flip or pivot the chin-bar of the helmet upwards to expose your face. In the following paragraphs we investigate why they are becoming more popular. To understand the rising popularity of modular helmets in the motorcycle gear space, we have to look into the advantages that they come with. Naturally, many riders find that … Continue reading
