Yamaha Virago XV250 Bobber Motorcycle

Yamaha has been making the Virago XV250 motorcycle since 1988 and here is a fun little fact – Australia still offers the Virago 250 (XV250) as well as the V Star 250 (XVS250). The Virago XV250 is no longer made but there are many for sale around the country for under $2,000 that you can pick up for a conversion bobber. To turn the Virago into a bobber is pretty simple – toss the front fender, change out the exhaust pipes, the rear fender and the  seat. This bobber motorcycle has had a great paint job, I like all black bikes … Continue reading

Electric Bobber Motorcycle

Orphiro is not just an electric motorcycle, it has the classic bobber motorcycle look to it. This electric battery-powered bobber motorcycle is made in the Netherlands. The company was founded by Alexander Steegh, he says the slick streamlined exterior covers five lithium-ion batteries putting out 72 volts. They claim a top speed of 75 mph, and you can recharge the batteries in six and a half hours. “Sustainable fun, a cool design and comfortable driving. Orphiro combines all ideals when it comes to new motorcycling: fully electric, fast loading and one with nature.” When you look at this bobber motorcycle at … Continue reading

Chopper frames are often cut, chopped, and welded into shape. A Bobber often lacks most of the chopper’s aesthetic characteristics like chromed parts and elongated forks. Bobber motorcycles are fairly easy to create from stock motorcycles and are generally hand … Continue reading

Yamaha XS650 Bobber Motorcycle in Black

This is an amazing Route 66 Yamaha XS 650 bobber motorcycle. I like the white wall front tire and that they tossed the front fender. As we look this bobber over from the front to the back I really like the look. This bobber is made by a Back Alley Bobbers in Salt Lake City, Utah. So the tank is cool with the iconic Route 66 highway marker sign on it. I think that the rear fender matches the road paint job on the tank. I think that the black leather solo saddle with the white stitching is really classic. … Continue reading
