Harley Davidson Bobber Motorcycle
Check out this sweet Harley Davidson Bobber Motorcycle. The Harley Davidson brand is a classic, it has been around since 1903 and this is the motorcycle brand that vets rode in Europe. When the vets came back they trusted the H-D brand and got rid of the extra crap that they did not need on the motorcycle which turned it into a bobber motorcycle. This H-D bobber motorcycle in the picture below is really cool. I like the standard size matched tires. The flat black frame with the gloss black tank with the silver racing stripe is cool. The air filter … Continue reading

A few years ago I talked about different types of motorcycle lifts that I could use. Now that I am a few years older, a few years more sore, still without all the money I want, and not wanting to bend over too much to work on my motorcycle I have thought more about lifts. I found a great 1,000 Lb. capacity motorcycle lift from Harbor Freight for a great price of $599.99. It has some really cool features: Foot-operated pump and ram assembly leaves your hands free. Easily lifts motorcycles and ATVs up to 1000 lbs. for servicing. Heavy-duty hydraulic … Continue reading

I know that on some of the old school bobber motorcycles ran car tires. Do your own research on running car tires on motorcycles. You’ll find that almost everyone that has gone to the “Darkside” is happy with the results and is safely continuing to do so. On the other hand, almost everyone that tells you it’s dangerous and foolish has never tried it. Again, do … Continue reading

Mrs. Sally Halterman is the first woman to get a motorcycle license
Women riding a motorcycle is cool to me. I think all guys look at a woman riding and we give them the respect that they have with riding a motorcycle entails. I do not know what motorcycle this is I know that the photo and press story were cited as of Sept. 15, 1937. This classic motorcycle is in front of the Lincoln Memorial which construction was started in 1914 with $300,000 and finished May 30th 1922. Sally was the first woman to get a motorcycle license in the District of Columbia. If we think about the time back then this had to be pretty scandalous … Continue reading
