Many group rides are starting up and while we all love to ride and make friends it is hard to actually speak to one another so when on rides it is best to use hand signals. My wife and I wanted to get a comm system but we decided not to as sometimes it is more fun to just ride and not to have to hear anyone. So my wife and I use hand signals. The most common hand signal we use is Hazard in Roadway, Refreshment Stop, Single File and Follow Me. No matter what everything basically falls under four major things and this is that. So when in a group ride make sure that you know the hand signals and I suggest that you talk with everyone and have a plan on signals so that everyone is speaking the same language so to speak.
Group riding can be fun but it can be great when everyone is on the same page.
